Jack Smoltz-Bonham
New video evidence below that my son is going to be a left-handed drummer, NOT a left-handed pitcher as his father believes. (So now I’m gonna come home and find Jack gnawing on a brand new baseball glove, watching Smoltz and listening to his dad narrate the finer points of working on the mound, at which point I’ll be forced to pull out my Led Zeppelin and advance Jack’s musical training.) (PS – I know Smoltz isn’t left-handed, but give me some credit here. Five years of living with a baseball nut has rendered me capable of pulling the name of a great pitcher out of my head extemporaneously, which I think is pretty good. Though I had to google the spelling.)
Yesterday was such a great day, now I want to work from home forever. I’m sure the novelty would wear off, but it is nice to know that I can have a long and productive work day and be happy at the end of it. I was beginning to think I’d lost all of my positivity. But no, in fact I just have low tolerance for big jerks, and in the absence of said jerks I revert to my cheeful self quite quickly. It’s a relief.
That is all. Carry on.
