Snow
We had a fantastic day yesterday. It snowed, and I worked from home with you there beside me all day. Man are you a good baby. You are still a wee bit unbalanced, as the last post described, but coming out of it. You will play in your Pack n Play all day long, as long as I blow you a kiss now and then. Anyway, midday I bundled you up and took you out in the snow and it was marvelous, though you didn’t really enjoy it. Sometimes parents like to torture their kids. The experience will build character.
Feeding you is lots of fun, as you now eat anything. Your Nana and Grandpa Doc were here over the weekend, and we all went out to PF Chang’s for supper on Saturday night. You were a dream, sitting sweetly in your high chair, playing with chopsticks, and eating up the chicken and fruit I brought for you. Two whole hours you hung out there, pleasant as can be. It is so wonderful to have a kid that lets you get out of the house and be with grown ups. You’re a doll baby.
It’s the end of the work day and it’s time for me to pack up and go home, but I wanted to quickly check in here and say how much I love you! What a joy you still are, every day! Even though you exhaust us, we wouldn’t trade you for all the sleep and rest and Caneel Bay vacations in the world.
