Fried Kitty Legs
This morning before work I found the cat mewing pitifully at our cedar chest in the front room, reaching under it with both paws. I got down on my belly to fish out whatever it was she wanted – and found a little stockpile of silver Christmas tree ornaments. When I looked her in the eye to give her a scolding, I found a piece of Christmas ribbon sticking out of her teeth.
It’s fried kitty legs for breakfast tomorrow.

This is exactly why we don\’t have ribbons on our gifts anymore! Sly chews on all of them and whatever he doesn\’t swallow ends up in bits all over the apartment! Then, we have to give chewed ribbons and bows to people on Christmas — classy!
I love that she had a stockpile of ornaments! When we moved, I found random ornaments scattered around the apartment under things. Darn cat!
I am betting that there won\’t be fried kitty legs tomorrow morning…you\’ll be laughing about it!

aren\’t kitties golden? they are just so sneaky and quiet about things that you don\’t even know what they\’re doing until it\’s too late. i\’m sorry you\’re beautiful bows have been munched on. just think of it as adding character to the gift!
