I decided to grocery shop on my lunch break. It’s always fun to do the first shop after the man has left you – you get to buy all the stuff he doesn’t like to eat, revel in a meal plan that serves only your needs. Pickles, portabellas, onions, all my favorites go in the cart.
I walk past the beer aisle. Today, today that six pack of Stella Artois looks beyond tempting. As I walk past, gazing at it longingly, I get a really hard kick in the ribs from Jack. "I know, I know, I’m not getting it, sheesh," I grumble. Bossy little fetus.
lol…he was just making sure that you weren\’t getting it…
i do the same thing when Kenny goes away…only he eats pretty much all the things do…actually my diet gets pretty rought when he leaves…in fact one weekend i ate nachos all weekend while he was gone….
*~* :o) if you do not have a smile today… :o) I will give you one of mine… :o) *~*
I do like having time on my own, but a month…no. That\’s a long time, I\’m sending you \’hope this month flies by\’ vibes, although I figure while still sad you\’ll have a nice Me and the Animals routine set up by week\’s end.
I remember a bunch of years ago I was having tears, and I was in the room with our Gray parrot, and he was sitting quietly on his perch watching me with his head to one side. I felt like he was feeling me, although for all I know he was looking at me like \’I wonder if she has pistachios with her?\’
