Yeah, I put my hometown as Clemson. I had lived here for 5 years, so I figured that counted. It seemed silly to list the place I had lived in 15 years ago, even if I did live there the first 18 years of my life. Again, though, nobody cares… so why not put some fun, made-up answer?
I toyed with Djibouti, or Dubai, or Tokyo. ha! But enough of my classmates will probably read it in boredom during the ceremony, and then I’d have to field a kazillion questions. I’m also thinking about “crazy,” since my ongoing joke is to answer “Where we goin’, Mama?” with “crazy,” which then prompts Jack to ask me fifty times when we’re going to get to crazy, and what’s crazy, and is it fun, and etc. etc.
(thus, of course, getting us there faster.)
