My New Home

After approximately four years of writing drivel on another hosting service, I’ve got my own home.  Shiny.

Big props to my husband’s cousin for leading me, blind, through the somewhat murky waters of web-hosting-domain-name–ISP-server-selecting-etc.

I’m going to play around with looks and categories and all the things that wordpress offers, because I have a paper due and need some help with procrastination.

*I’m typing one-handed while lobbing popcorn at the three baby-bird mouths that surround me – my dog, my cat, and my toddler.  One day I’ll be able to eat a full meal/snack of my own, in peace.  And what a boring life that will be!
