More Happier – Small Updates

In the airport on the way home from a business trip, I came across the book “Life in Five Senses: How Exploring the Senses Got Me Out of My Head and Into the World” by Gretchen Rubin.

I highly recommend it – it’s a quick read, self-help but in a practical non-preachy way. From this book I discovered her podcast More Happier, recorded with her sister Liz Craft. It’s fun to listen to – again very practical, keeps the heart rate steady, no controversy. An easy listen, and some great challenges for tiny nudges to make daily life just that little bit “more happier” every day.

At my oldest son’s insistence, I’ve been watching the Guardians of the Galaxy series. It’s fun! Makes a change from re-watching 30 Rock for possibly the hundredth time.

My youngest boy’s hair is so long right now, we are calling him 1990s JTT – Jonathan Taylor Thomas, in the Home Improvement days. He flips it out of his face like some sort of teen model. I need to cut it but keep putting it off.
