Two people scanned me today, and in between scans we put Jack up on my belly, as he was getting quite worried about Mommy getting poked and prodded. (Yes, we took him. I don’t recommend it, but desperate times . . . he did ok.) He was riding my tummy like a horse (oof!), and Angus MacPokey-knees (not his real name) was beating me from the inside. I almost threw up from the abuse, and thought – so this is my life for the next 20 or so years.
I used to dream about three blond boys, actually. In my dreams they had curls, and were triplets, but aside from that my dreams are coming true, one little wee-wee at a time.
In his profile shot, he looks like Patrick. 🙂 C’mon, JUNE!
*I have to say that the ultrasound was just as magical and amazing as with Jack. Those little legs just pumping away, the arms up around his head, twirling and spinning and flipping around in there! So I think I’ll find parenting little Gus (not his real name) just as neat-o, despite my worries below. I knew I would, but now I KNOW I will.
YAY! Congrats! I love boys, they are completely delightful. I hope my next baby, whenever that will be, turns out to be a boy. June will be here before you know it, soak up all the moments with Jack while you have him to yourself!
