We enjoyed the Indiana wedding we attended over the weekend. And even the eternal drive up and back was mitigated by the fact that Jack was a doll and I finished knitting a baby bootie, my first, and am now a certified genius baby bootie knitter. We have approximately six zillion friends in Indiana, and I wish we’d had more time to visit people, including Patrick’s ill Gran – but alas, we did not. This was an all too quick trip.
And now we are on womb watch. My niece, Ella, is acting the true lady and making us all wait. Her poor parents are in the wretched limbo state of Baby Today or No Baby Today? It’s the worst. It won’t be long now, I hope it’s today! Actually, I hope it’s Friday because they met Jack when he was one day old, and I would like to be able to return the favor.
Ella. Hurry up! We want to smoosh your cheeks! Jack wants to pull your hair and eat your face! Virgil wants to lick your feet! There is lots to be done!
