In a fit of thrift, I have whipped up two ice cube trays worth of frozen baby food. Squash, carrots, bananas. Ice cube trays are a convenient way to freeze it – then pop the cubes into freezer bags, and select one or two per meal! Voila!
I feel so . . . so . . . like my mother. I bought a food mill just like hers, and I remember smooshing bananas in it when I was a kid, prepping the eats for my sibs. It’s a hand crank one. A messy affair, twas this, but kind of a fun one. Jack is going to be eatin’ well this week!
