His name, by the way, is John Calum. But we call him burrito baby, frog baby, Herr Diktator, and lots of other things that might make you diabetic if you read the whole list, so I’ll spare you.
Also, as of his first checkup, he has also surpassed his birth weight (babies lose weight right after birth, and it can take a week or two to get back up to birthweight.) Overachieving already, our little champion.
You are sounding very mom-ish, and that\’s probably right on target. I\’m so happy for you two (oops! I mean THREE!). He sounds pretty content through his first days 🙂
John, Jack – both are very strong names, and I\’m a fan…but for the meantime I will continue to address him as Captain. And by \’address\’ I mean use-Captain-when-I-write-about-him-as-the-chances-of-meeting-him-and-addressing-him-to-his-cutie-pie-baby-face-are-very-slim.
With that said, please enjoy your blissful first times with YOUR SON, we will be here when you are ready to spill the baby-dish!
I love his name… and he is absolutely beautiful. It sounds like you guys are thoroughly enjoying your babymoon. As you should.
Love the name! Love hearing about everything! Can\’t wait to hear everything in more detail!
You are so very blessed. You look content in the pictures (where I would look terrified) and so does Patrick. I\’m so excited for this journey you are all taking together.
Congratulations on your little bundle of baby joy!
Amanda 🙂
