He's in the wide world
In brief:
Swifty McSwifterson, aka our son Jack, zoomed into the world at 8:10AM this morning. Today is also my brother’s birthday! As I am a bit busy admiring his every inch and hobbling around the recovery room, I will save the details for further posts. But I will post a few pictures of the new arrival. We are all well – there is a lot of love here in North Carolina.
8 pounds 3 ounces. 21 1/4 inches. 12 hours of labor from start to finish.

Just so you know, you\’ve got some pretty cool parents, aunts & uncles, and grandparents. So I don\’t want to hear all your teen angst in 2023. You\’re lucky, kid. Get used to it.
