Also? I’m making two this year.
1 – Remember to take cloth bags to grocery to minimize amount of plastic bags that end up exploding out of our recycle drawer and all over the dadgum house. Stole this one from my sister-in-law.
2 – Be a good mom, and also still a good friend and good wife.
Think I can do them?
I have all the faith in the world you can do #2…but #1? I\’ll give you this, I applaud you for thinking green…but I\’m always finding use for plastic bags – namely when I\’m emptying bathroom trash bins, packing a quick lunch, taking trash out of the car – so I don\’t think gathering those bags is all that horrible.

I just read your last entry: I LOVE Risk. I\’m sorry Patrick is leaving. I wish I had some cheese and chocolate. SO GLAD friend\’s daughter is getting better.
But…again…sorry hubby is going out of town. Good time for you to nest. With dog. And cat. And pummeling to-be-born.

I use them, too, as trash bags, carrier bags, puppy poop picker uppers. . . But we still end up taking tons of them to the recycle center at least once a month. I\’d like to never recycle another one – to end up with just enough to meet our trash collection needs in the house. I decided to keep my resolutions small and easy, given the challenges of the upcoming year!
